Join Cornerstone Sonoma Saturday, November 28th for the Annual Lighting of the Snowman event as we kick off the holiday season in Sonoma. This year's event benefits the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation for the Sonoma Valley School Garden Project.

This year's highlights include an all new courtyard transformation. Enter into a winter wonderland with live holiday jazz, marshmallow and chestnut roasting, wine tasting and the wonderful merchants at Cornerstone who have worked with the north pole design staff to provide unique and affordable gifts for all of your holiday giving needs. 10% of all purchases made during the evening will be donated to the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, for the Sonoma Valley School Garden Project for the construction and maintenance of gardens in Sonoma Public Schools.

Highlights Include: Zipper Fabulous Floral Trees, Artefact Hot Cider Brew, Tempting Hot Toddies at Translations and a special Holiday Movie Screening for the kids with crafts and hot cocoa in the olive grove.

This event is free to the public, with holiday cheer to be enjoyed by all.

** All NEW for 2009, The Chef's Winter Dessert Savoring:

As a special finale to the much anticipated Lighting of the Snowmen, a Chef's Winter Dessert Savoring featuring Sonoma Valley chefs and restaurateurs will be held under our 50 foot Zephyr Event Tent to benefit the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation.

Participants include: the girl and the fig, The Epicurean Connection, Maya Restaurant, Wild Thyme Catering, The Red Grape, El Dorado Kitchen, Sunflower Caffe and Peet's Coffee & Tea. Recipe cards and cooking tips will go home with all who attend.
