Two Mecca's Unite at Cornerstone Gardens - October 16, 2010!
NSWandFF_Logo-1The Napa Sonoma Wine and Food Festival celebrates the coming together of the two most infamous areas for wine production in its inaugural event. Wine, food, design, art and lifestyle experiences will be presented on October 14 - 16, 2010 at the legendary CornerStone Gardens. The event brings together world-renowned wineries, celebrated chefs, local artisans, influential designers and industry insiders for a medley of signature experiences designed to entertain, educate and inspire you, your family, friends and colleagues in a unique setting that only CornerStone Gardens can provide.

In addition to discovering and sampling some of the best wines the combined regions have to offer, Festival attendees will be able to purchase wines at the Festival - by the bottle or by the case - direct from each participating winery. And, through the event's one-of-a-kind "wine valet/concierge" service, wine purchases can be retrieved at the end of the festival at the on-site, drive-up or walk-up wine warehouse. No need to carry wine purchases around the Festival. Festival volunteers will gather purchases together throughout the day and have them ready for pickup upon departure from the Festival. Friendly wine valets will place purchases right into attendee vehicles!

Special Festival wine discounts will be available and all wine club member prices will be honored.

The Festival will present up to 60 wineries and winemakers, with the potential to represent up to 250 wine labels from the Napa and Sonoma appellations. Boutique and small-production wineries/vintners, without tasting rooms open to the public are provided special accommodation in the Festival's Boutique Collective.

Napa and Sonoma area chefs, restaurants and caterers will each participate in taking attendees on a unique "passport" culinary adventure throughout the CornerStone Garden spaces. Communal dining tables offer experiences to wine and dine throughout the gardens and retail showrooms while soaking up the acoustic sounds of local favorite music entertainers.

The Festival Culinary Pavilion will host an array of chef demonstrations and seminars. The Artisan Collective will feature fine art for show and sale from a select number of local artists. The Designer's Pavilion will feature seminars and demonstrations including garden & landscape design, the history of winemaking in the Napa; Sonoma valleys, and architecture of the wine country. And, the Farmer's Market Collective will provide an opportunity to sample and take home the very best of the area's freshly-harvested, organic produce, cheeses and fresh flowers. There's something for everyone!

The Napa Sonoma Wine and Food Festival benefits both the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and NapaLearns.

Notable and acclaimed Master Sommeliers Gilles de Chambure, MS and Director of Wine Education at Meadowood Resort, Napa Valley; Larry Stone, MS and General Manager of Rubicon Estate; and Peter Ganoff, MS/affiliated with the Culinary Institute of America and Ferry Market Wine Merchant headline a growing number of industry experts participating in this year's Festival.
